From specification through build, clinical safety assurance and live running. All client systems and client data are held in the United Kingdom.
Services
Healthcare systems specified by clinicians who have used them in practice, built by people who have run them at national scale, and assured against the standards the NHS holds its suppliers to.
Clinical safety officer services and full support for DCB0129 and DCB0160 — hazard logs, clinical safety case reports and post-deployment review. We prepare Digital Technology Assessment Criteria submissions, and we review the safety cases put forward by other suppliers.
Caldicott principles, lawful basis, data protection impact assessments, data sharing agreements and Data Security and Protection Toolkit preparation — from people who have written these submissions and assessed them.
Independent assessment of AI and machine learning tools intended for clinical or operational use: intended purpose, data provenance, evaluation, bias, monitoring, and the governance needed to deploy them responsibly and keep them safe once they are in service.
Dashboards and drill-down views of large healthcare datasets, built around the people who will actually read them — clinician, analyst or contract manager. The visual concepts come from clinical practice rather than generic business reporting.
Datasets the reader can move through along a path defined by the structure of the data itself, instead of being held to a fixed set of reports written in advance by somebody else.
Healthcare data blended with demographic, social and Ordnance Survey reference data to produce mapped views of activity, access and outcomes across a population.
Your data stays available to you. We provide structured interfaces in JSON and XML so other systems can read from and write to the platforms we operate, documented and agreed at the start of each engagement.
Responsive web applications tested across current desktop and mobile browsers, with accessibility and clinical safety designed in from the start rather than retrofitted before an assessment.
Structured collection and submission systems — audit, registry and workforce reporting platforms running at national scale, with the validation and quality control that makes the returns worth analysing.
We source, configure and manage hosting on your behalf, entirely within the United Kingdom, with monitoring, maintenance, backup and user support included as standard rather than priced as extras.
Independent clinical and informatics advice for boards, programme teams and research units, including review of supplier claims, readiness assessment and a second opinion on a business case before it is committed to.
Every system we build is specified by someone who has used one like it in practice. That is the difference between a dashboard that is technically correct and one that will get used and make a difference.
Clinical safety and information governance run alongside the build, not as a document produced at the end to get through a gate. It is cheaper, and the resulting safety case is one that holds up. Privacy and cyber security built in by design.
We host and operate what we build, and your data stays accessible to you throughout the engagement and at the end of it. No part of it is held hostage to the contract.

Work
We have built systems for public access, for access by login, and for use inside an organisation's own network — for GP practices, acute trusts, integrated care boards, research units and national programmes. We have provided services to NHS Digital and NHS England.
Designed and managed by Argyle IT. A national portal supporting contractual compliance, workforce census submission and quality assurance reporting in primary care.
HSJ Awards 2012
Winner
Won by NHS London. System built by Argyle IT.
We built and operated the system behind NHS London's myhealthlondon programme, which won the Health Service Journal Award 2012 for Enhancing Care with Data and Information Management.
Built for a London teaching hospital cardiology department to support patient management, calculating primary cardiovascular risk from the Framingham equations and published statin efficacies.
Built for a London teaching hospital as an internal service cataloguing detailed information on liver tumours. The dataset has since supported several peer-reviewed publications.
Designed, hosted and maintained by Argyle IT for a London GP practice over several years, covering patient information, appointments and practice news.
Data collection, quality control and analysis platform supporting a UK-wide specialty audit, developed with a national professional body.
A digital slide bank providing educational material to specialist trainees and consultants, now used internationally.
