Accessibility statement

Scope

This statement applies to the public pages of www.argyleit.co.uk. It does not cover the customer portal, or systems we build and operate for clients; accessibility for those is agreed with each client and documented separately.

Our approach

We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA.

In building the site we have:

• used semantic HTML headings, landmarks and lists so the page can be navigated by assistive technology;
• provided a skip link to the main content;
• made all functionality available without a mouse, with a visible keyboard focus indicator;
• avoided any content that moves, flashes or updates automatically;
• used text that reflows without loss of content when the page is zoomed or viewed on a small screen;
• relied on no colour alone to convey meaning;
• built the site without JavaScript, so nothing depends on scripting being available.

Client work

Where we design and build systems for healthcare organisations we work to WCAG 2.2 level AA as standard, and can provide accessibility documentation as part of a supplier assurance or Digital Technology Assessment Criteria submission.
